It also costs money and significantly affects the structural engineering. I wouldn't have thought of it out of fear of heat. It might have an effect – but I would much rather rely on a cooling concept that I’m sure works than on a vague assumption.

And you think a statistical survey with 2 subjects is significant? Mmh. As I said, I have no idea. But I could imagine, for example, that the number and size of the south-facing windows, shading, location of the house, or nearby trees have a greater effect. On the other hand – if you like it – sure. It would just be funny if the concrete ceiling messes up the 40 pages of floor plan puzzles because of the statics.
