Of course, the heat pump is decoupled by rubber vibration dampers. The same applies to the pipes, which are also all exclusively decoupled from the building structure by insulation.

I have paid the utmost attention to acoustic decoupling on all the pipes.

Does it maybe make sense for you to additionally put in construction dryers there? Can you now adhere to the specified screed heating program?

I am not very familiar with heat pumps, so please forgive me a silly question: How is it during a power outage for a few hours? Does such a heat pump not turn on by itself again, but rather freeze up?

We also use dryers but below 15 degrees they don't do much. The heat pump is now running at 8kw but it takes time to warm up the whole mass again. Normally the pump starts up again immediately but after a certain time it simply freezes. Then you are out of luck. Likewise if it were to go into error mode at night at these low temperatures.

With a heat pump, you definitely cannot achieve the specified values required for heating the screed. We also have a heat pump from Alpha Innotec.

Additionally, a mobile boiler was added for heating the screed and connected to the heating system, which then delivered an additional 21kw.

It ran for 6 weeks. With only the heat pump, we would not have reached the temperatures.

And regarding mounting the heat pump on the house wall. Every plumbing company advised us against it because of the humming.

Ours stands 50 centimeters in front of the house on a concrete base, and even there the humming at full load is enough for me.

The last few days everything has been beautifully snowed in, everything a bit slower and you only hear the crunching of the steps in the snow... and the rattling of heat pumps at -15 degrees ;)
