What do you mean by straight? Here is one with an additional bend

I also have a space-saving staircase like that going all the way up to the (converted) attic. The railing and the shape of the stairs are exactly like in your first picture. It works.

It actually looks strange. For us, it is solved with a bulge but we have a half-fanned. What does the professional say?

By straight I mean the straight handrails. Normally, the handrail follows the course of the staircase, but your variant just looks pieced together and like a "cheap solution" because smaller sections of straight handrails were simply joined together to follow the curve. In the picture, it also looks like it wouldn't be particularly comfortable to grip for the stair user because the shape is so odd. So I would really reconsider that; you notice something like that immediately.

One should also consider the other requirements for the quality of a handrail, whether one is going up [bumperlgsund] in the light or down with a stubbed toe in the dark.

I would first ask the local locksmiths and glaziers how they would solve it. It will be more expensive than the DIY solution from the hardware store, but visually and functionally superior.
