The attentive reader of course knows that I wrote a few posts ago that I will get to the bottom of this topic. As an engineer, I rely on hard facts and not on.. Someone said that...
Yesterday the roofer ordered the timber frame at the sawmill. Normally he measures first and then orders, the roof is done 6 weeks later. Because I didn't want to wait that long, I have to pay the 6k deposit on my own risk. The plasterer also wants a 6k deposit as soon as he starts. Of course, it all has a certain taste, but since these are all reputable long-established companies, I don't see it as too critical.
Now I have simulated the two thermal bridges in the perimeter area. Since, as someone had already written, I could not find any thermal conductivity of the Poroton bricks in the longitudinal direction, I simply assumed ten times the value of the thermal conductivity in the transverse direction. At least I do not see any significant difference in the interior wall temperatures, or does someone have a better explanation?
To avoid cutting the stones, the construction company wanted to use half bricks. Unfortunately, they used some with lambda 0.5 (Poroton T9 0.09). Now they have to dismantle them and do the cutting after all.
Unfortunately, there is still no delivery date for the ceiling and also none for the concrete pump for the ring anchors of the garage.

Is the garage made of sand-lime brick? For what reason was the same brick as for the house not used for the garage? (Poroton) Best regards
Currently, I am working on designing the ventilation system in CAD. Next will be the water pipes and the drain. With this, I want to minimize the time on the construction site and detect errors in advance.
Hello , please send me a private message, I unfortunately cannot send messages yet. I have a question about your CAD skills. Thank you very much and best regards, Daniel
