I am still designating the upper floor as SG so that it looks a bit lighter. Just as you wrote, I am trying to make it appealing to the community with affordable housing for families.

A new development with 10 plots is currently being developed very close by, which will be allocated based on a points system due to high demand. Actually a novelty in our rural area.

Based on my experience in local politics, I would not be surprised if, with only ten plots as the total population, the lottery procedure is quite coincidentally tailored to the already determined winners, who are connected by a few degrees of kinship to members of the municipal council.

The second floor is progressing slowly. After 3 months of shell construction, I honestly wonder if I should have chosen the company that was 6,000€ more expensive. At this pace, it will surely take another 4 weeks until the roof is on. There are still two ring beams to be installed, one steel beam on the upper floor, all interior walls on the upper floor, as well as the non-load-bearing walls on the ground floor.

How do you manage it so that the next trades can continue immediately afterward and are not booked out for the next few months? Sounds like you don't have a fixed date for [Rohbaufertigstellung]?
