Our property is on the main road and currently still a forest. Waiting for the building permit including conversion. The plants/trees always grow onto the sidewalk, that's why the warnings. When we move in, a lot will change. Among other things, all the trees in the front will be cut down. So everything is fine so far. With us, it's like being on vacation. You have absolute peace...

But that will definitely change when the trees are cleared and the road layout is built on and inhabited by people.

The house will be set 16m into the property (no further; the property length is about 73m). So the terrace is on the other side of the house and about 32m from the street. At the back we still have a 900sqm garden and we already know the neighbors to the right and behind us. I’d say: allotment garden neighbors  To the left of us there is also forest. It was bought about 2 years ago by an Asian family from Berlin. We don't know if it will be developed. Of course you can be unlucky. But since we are used to noise, something substantial would have to come along to bother us :)

And those you know don’t make a peep? Andrea in the neighboring thread with the carport also knew the buyer of the plot and is now disappointed.

They are the worst – they usually lease everything, including "rights" that no one has ever heard of yet ;)

By Schreber garden I mean that they are totally quiet. We never see those behind us anyway, since there is a wall there and the distance from our terrace to their terrace is probably about 60-70m. We know the ones to the right of us quite well. And yes, things can always turn out differently. But as already mentioned several times, we are both native Poles and are therefore very tolerant of noise
