We can’t talk about many illnesses because we don’t have them. Personally, I also have a physical illness that 99.9% of people cannot relate to. But it remains an illness, and running away from it makes no sense.

I currently have double sound exposure: East rock and something I would call "noise," not music.
I've never had this before, two competing parties in the village...
If it were like this all the time, I would also be climbing the walls...
In any case, is right about one thing: is now so stressed that every sound from the neighbor triggers her imagination again... Even if he turns off the music after a while.

I don't really believe that we would make a loss with this place. In this settlement, bungalows are already being rented for almost the price that we currently have as a rate. But we are significantly larger than a bungalow and also have somewhat upscale equipment. Especially since prices have risen here since 2020, both for land and for houses / house construction. I think with what we paid, we should probably at least break even. However, various fees would have to be offset against that. Depending on how you deal with the bank (of which I really have no idea), notary, possibly any claims for subsidies (although I don't really believe that right now, since the house is not being demolished).

To bring a little humor into the thread (it has gotten somewhat uncomfortably personal here)
The day before yesterday: me at work on the first floor, doing my morning rounds and calling into the offices: Good morning, Moorgähn, Mohrgän, Moinsen and so on. Music was coming from the 7th office. The colleague with a relaxed character was playing Suzi Quattro. Muted, without bass, it was no longer heard in the neighboring office. But in the hallway, where all the doors were open. I thought of ! :)
I wondered if that droning also stimulates the annoying mental soundtrack for her.
5 minutes later, in my office on the ground floor, I had already forgotten the music again.

Hello Kati, maybe you can make an agreement with your neighbor. Whenever you raise a flag, banner, or a specific cloth that is clearly visible to him, he can turn up his music as much as he wants, because for example you will not be at home for the next few hours or you do not plan to go out anyway.

Ahaha, I’m a bit sorry that I’m following you beyond the forum with my story. =D At the office, I only sometimes had some tinkling music that you could hear through headphones if colleagues were a bit loud. That already gets on my nerves, but I was usually able to avoid it pretty well with the Bose NC headphones. They can filter out very quiet “zip zip zip” noises.
