We did try. He promised us to skip it ONE DAY a week, namely Sundays. And yesterday music played from morning until evening, except for the one hour at midday when my husband went over and asked him to turn it off. Despite knowing that it bothers us, our personal request that day, and the agreement, he turned it back on shortly after anyway.
So much for keeping compromises.
