Isn't an efficient heat pump sufficient for the EE class? So without its own photovoltaic system.

The regulation states the following:

Point c) should be achievable, for example, with a deep drilling heat pump, shouldn't it?

No idea - for me it's the local heating ;)

I think 40 EE is now the best price/performance/subsidy ratio ;)

For an EE class, no photovoltaic system is needed. A heat pump is sufficient. It also obtains >55% of the heat from the environment.
Only for the 40Plus is photovoltaic plus storage required.
However, a "40Plus EE" subsidy is not possible.
Anyone aiming for a "40 EE" and usually realizes this with a heat pump receives a 22.5% subsidy on 150TEUR.
Anyone aiming for a "40Plus" has usually already planned with a heat pump (since otherwise the primary energy consumption would be difficult) and receives a 25% subsidy on 150TEUR, but additionally requires photovoltaic and storage. For this, the difference of 2.5% on 150TEUR is available. That is still 3750EUR for photovoltaic and storage. Whether it is still worth it each must decide for themselves......

that initially confirms our plan towards KfW 40 EE

Then the question for me is what the purpose of the EE class is if you achieve it with the Daikin heat pump and what sense the NH class then makes. Because everything except night storage heaters is additionally eligible for funding?
PS: and I maintain that those who build KfW40 usually have photovoltaics on the roof. The spare cash is obviously available and the photovoltaics are the only thing on the house that regularly brings in money.
