Federal funding for efficient buildings (BEG) from Q1 2021

Hello everyone, the time has finally come. The long-awaited information sheets for the BEG WG as loan and subsidy variants have been published.
They can be found at KFW under the respective program (loan: 261, subsidy 461) and then under forms and downloads.
With this, KFW has finally also explained how the technical values (e.g. thermal bridge coefficient/surcharge) for the funding application are to be calculated. This means that the applications that may be submitted from 01.07.21 can now be calculated, i.e. the energy efficiency experts can get started...
Unfortunately, the interest rates for the loan variant have not yet been published; they will only be announced on 01.07.21.

Excerpt: was it already like this with the interest rates before?

“The interest rate is based on the development of the capital market and is set on the day of the commitment. • The product interest rate valid on the day of the KfW commitment or the product interest rate that is more favorable for you at the time of the KfW application submission applies.”

So far, the interest rate at the time of application always applied. With the new wording, you are definitely better off!

Will the interest rate now be better than the kfw 153? The interest rate lock remains at 10 years, right? We are still considering BAFA + Kfw 153 or the new Kfw loan?

I suspect they will simply take over the terms and conditions? You just no longer have the risk that the interest rate drops after the application and you have “logged in” the higher rate. Isn't the combination of BAFA + 153 worthwhile if you have been approved for the maximum €50,000 eligible costs?

How should the 50,000 € be approved? For me it's the brine-water heat pump (6-8k €). Then there's the question about controlled residential ventilation? Does it have to be applied for together or can I also report it to BAFA?
