I can think of more "hypes":
1. the pharmacist's cabinet
When you open it in a show house kitchen -> very nice. But when you have stocked it with all your supplies, you could feel sick every time you just want to grab a can of the same beans, but have to move several kilos with the guiding drawer.
2. the giant tub
Sufficient for 4 people, but when do you use it? Infinite liters are consumed if you want to relax alone once in a while. We took it for 2.
3. Le camin - the fireplace
It's stylish, room-dividing, but insanely warm when it first blazes up. We love it and then open the windows [emoji41]
4. open gallery
Ultra stylish and spacious - those who have it and love it have no children [emoji6] Sound also travels generously upwards, no trace of peace. It also consumes living space, so if you can afford it.... We [emoji23]
5. gable-high rooms
Here too: spaciousness. However, you should consider that the room is not too narrow, the roof pitch not too steep. Otherwise, a room can quickly feel unpleasant.
6. loophole windows
You can hardly see out of them. But it also has the advantage that no one can look inside, yet you have light and ventilation. I personally like them, these small windows of e.g. 50 x 50, and of course had them installed on the north side as well.
7. skylights
I find them brilliant: when all shutters are down for privacy, you still have natural daylight, e.g. in the hallway or living room.
