So, just to understand, are shutters apparently not allowed in front of floor-to-ceiling windows? Would that then be a breach of style?

A best before date is not an expiration date, but after that, no one really wants to be responsible for the consistency of their stuff as it was at delivery.

"neo-late Roman"?

If the young guys aren’t too pimply and hunchbacked, the little daughter does her homework thoroughly. Educationally valuable windows, so to speak

My desk is on the upper floor in front of a floor-to-ceiling window (so ist es mal geplant), from the street you can neither see a short skirt nor the mess

Floor-to-ceiling windows: I am a fan of as many as possible, it always looks airier and more modern, both from the outside and inside, even if you place something in front of them. On the upper floor with a desk in front, I also find it great, you have a fantastic view. Small children appreciate it all the more, for them it is a huge added value.

Spotlights in the roof box, for example, are not my thing because I don’t like this horizontal cladding of the roof box at all. With "city villas" with a shallow-pitched roof, it’s okay; with houses with a "real" gable roof, a slanted cladding looks significantly airier/nicer (okay, it’s also a bit more expensive, but it’s manageable).

Can you also show windows that look that bad after 3 years? When I drive/walk through the partly older residential areas here, nothing looks that bad.

Sigh... you praise the relaxed thread, and now? [emoji53]

Well: spotlights illuminating the house - I think that's so great [emoji106] and of course we have them too [emoji2]
Spotlights in the eaves have been around for a long time, I don't really find them worth mentioning now.

Just read... towel radiators are also very common in show homes.

We had one in the old house: hardly used, it was also difficult to get folded towels between the bars.

Our builder wouldn't have installed one as standard anyway because of our underfloor heating, so we don't have one either [emoji2]
