In bedrooms, from personal experience, parapets are more practical anyway, then also preferably wide windows so that the width of the room and not the ceiling is illuminated.

We have every window except for the guest toilets floor-to-ceiling - exactly 20 of them - and especially in the bedroom we like the three windows very much. When we lie in bed in the morning and open the blinds, we can really look outside and not just see the sky.

Oh, you mean the second basin of a single sink. Before the time of dishwashers, that was generally common. In my opinion, you can always use at least one small drain in addition to the main basin.
