Can be nice, doesn't have to be. It has to fit the house type. In a 250sqm old apartment with 270cm high rooms, it's nice. In a 120sqm single-family house where the lady of the house fell in love with the wing door of the aforementioned old apartment and absolutely wants to have it in her 120sqm hut because it looks so impressively stately, it turns into a joke (not even a joke anymore).
And I know some apartments where this is the case... and where such doors are ALWAYS left open. Then I really wonder why I don't save the money in a new building. In an old building where the door is in place, well, you just live with it and enjoy the ambiance. I've never been able to find any practical use.
