I find the seating window okay and nice (we have planned something similar in the hallway), it’s also easy to clean.

However, the niche with the cozy bed sets off my domestic alarm bells: good luck cleaning the window here! Wobbling with the little bucket over the bed... well, it wouldn’t be for me. And that’s fun when you’re healthy and young, but just a minor knee surgery and it already becomes a super challenge. So overall, the niche cozy bed would be too impractical for me.

Which niche with a cuddle bed? I only see pillows lying there.....both are window seats, the only difference is that one just has shelves on the side.....

I don’t know if we’ve covered this already, but an airlock from the garage into the house is a complete mystery to me. Unless the airlock incidentally adjoins the wardrobe that was already planned by the main entrance, I think it’s completely pointless.

Most people plan access through the utility room. Yes, but what is that supposed to achieve? Now I’m standing in the utility room with my clothes, so what? Do I take off my shoes here and carry them to the wardrobe? And what did that get me?
A covered main entrance from the garage is much better.

Since such an airlock also wastes a lot of space, in the end I have an expensive second entrance with little benefit, more dirt, increased risk of burglary, and probably loss of necessary space for cabinets etc.

were floor-to-ceiling windows already included?

yes, I also find them great to look at. if you have the necessary space and can do without the area in front of the window or if the couch is in such a large room that more than a meter distance to the window looks great and the rest of the room still doesn't feel cramped. but not everywhere in a "small" single-family house?! our architect really twitched that we wanted all the upper floor windows with a parapet and also in the office on the ground floor no terrace door, but a normal window. but the area... I don't regret it.
