So we really enjoy using our towel radiator here. And three towels always fit on it. It's just a pity that we can't turn it on in summer. We'll see what the new one consumes in electricity at all. Whether we even want that? [emoji848]

I didn't say anything about "looking bad." Rather, I pointed out that material and surface should ideally be a system with matching durability, which I don't see here. Even without amplifying temperature stress through dark tinting — although the effect can remain moderate on shaded sides or sun-exposed sides with well-functioning shading — a plastic window looks noticeably "no longer new" after about fifteen years.

I'm sorry... but when the babbling starts up again (or I had simply suppressed it by being absent)

That's exactly why they are built with a larger gap after every handful of ribs

Towel radiator: I now have one here in our apartment. I was really happy about it back then, but we don’t just have this radiator, we also have underfloor heating. And the result is: the bathroom is so warm because of the underfloor heating (my bathroom has to be warm!), that the radiator doesn’t turn on... ergo: it’s basically useless, a simple towel rack would have done the job. That’s why no one will come into the house anymore. The towels also dry because of the underfloor heating.

There are some really chic ones (Kermi), where you have a smooth radiator and can then mount as many towel holders as you want. They look stylish too and you don’t have to fiddle the towels through the "ribs".

Wouldn't it have been possible to plan them as one heating circuit for this room as well?

Also an alternative.
