That's how I thought at first, but in summer that really excludes west/northwest evening sun completely. And I have to say, I really like this sun on summer evenings. That's why I once rotated the bungalow.
At least a terrace (meaning the house) would start here no earlier than 6 to 7 meters from the property boundary. And you would have proper shielding towards the neighbor.
The bathroom from the open-plan living area also bothered me a bit. I already considered leading the staircase at an angle upwards, then this would also be avoidable.
Regarding the utility room: that should be technically feasible and I would definitely choose 2 carports or for the utility room definitely a carport with a room behind it. That means supply lines can run directly next to the house to the utility room, and one would have to think about the driveway material accordingly. In any case, you would still be able to access the supply lines there over the long term.
On the terrace side, one could then also choose a garage.
I don't like the staircase location at all. It disturbs and doesn't do the living room any good. This isn't a house for such a stair placement.
Yes, you're right, then it’s no longer a bungalow. But it is still exactly what we want.
Huh?
If you want something like that, then our planning and yours completely miss the point?!
And if I'm not mistaken, I already recommended such a house weeks ago.
So a normal single-story house where the roof is converted too, but without finding the word bungalow in the house.
By the way, I have exactly such a house myself: upstairs, only half of the ground floor is converted.
