Mmh, yeah the west sun will be difficult like that. But facing the street instead of the garden would be an even bigger pill to swallow, if you ask me.

If we take the floor plan, the only option left is to position the carport/garage on both sides of the plot, otherwise there is not enough space.



Yes, the plots are also quite close to each other. If I place the terrace in front to have the west/northwest sun, one should be quite sure that sun will actually reach it. Otherwise, you’ll be annoyed afterwards.

Yes, you’re right, then it’s no longer a bungalow. But it is still exactly what we want.



I also prefer the terrace at the back and not facing the street.

All made of wood and the cowshed is long.

I wanted to try the corner solution for the living area. Problematic areas here unfortunately are a rather narrow hallway and the cars driving right past the front door. Additionally, the sound insulation in the rooms is again questionable.

Overall, I stick to the view that you could live wonderfully here with 2 floors, but the bungalow is just a complete hassle.

Well, over 800sqm of land in a residential street with more than 6 to 7 meters distance from the street I call generous. I also don't see any issue with a garden facing the street. And, due to the curve location, I really see good chances for the west/northwest summer evening sun.
