If we take the floor plan, the only option left is to position the carport/garage on both sides of the plot, otherwise there is not enough space.
You have concerns. Normal residential areas have a house every 20 meters; at 200 meters, here we speak of hermit living... whether the sun sets there, disappears, or whatever, one can probably disregard as a concern.

Yes, the plots are also quite close to each other. If I place the terrace in front to have the west/northwest sun, one should be quite sure that sun will actually reach it. Otherwise, you’ll be annoyed afterwards.

Mmh, yes, the west sun will be difficult like that. But facing the street instead of the garden would be an even bigger pill to swallow, if you ask me.
I also prefer the terrace at the back and not facing the street.
