I am once again questioning the development of the attic ... and, if it is to be a hipped roof after all, my option 1 again with a 22° hipped roof and a widened carport/storage area.

Yes, and that leads to narrow rooms that are very difficult to use. The red is the "ridge wall," right? You divide the well-usable space under the ridge into 2 parts, whether equal in size or not—doesn’t matter. The blue is the estimated 2m line at a 35° roof—which is already quite high. There is little to nothing left in the middle. What exactly am I misunderstanding here?

I also like the living spaces (dining / living) best this way.

Relocating the washing machine is an option. I would rather buy very quiet appliances. I did that with my fridge as well.

Regarding the bathroom next to the bedroom, I have already moved the loudest pipes (toilet, shower) to the other wall. I would probably also make the wall to the bedroom a bit thicker. The question is how bathroom usage will be distributed with children. Presumably, you are the last ones in the bathroom?

The hallway is too narrow – the house needs more length here (which soon becomes absurd).

Light is not a problem – next to the door you can put a glass element. That can easily be placed before the stair entry. The door itself can have a large glass section.

Remove the wall between the living room and dining area. Is it big enough?

But maybe start over again. I have another thought....

Here is a version 17m x 10.5 + front house. I don't think it's that bad, especially because the family would have a lot of space in the living area. Also, you won't get run over by the car. The laundry room could be small if the technology can be moved upstairs. However, there's a problem. No light in the hallway. You might have to work with Velux spots here. Or just open up the ceiling in the corridor, as I had once proposed, and then double casement windows. That would be pretty cool.
