That’s good.
Of course, put your door wherever YOU want - but WHY is that unfortunate, I would honestly be very interested; really!
Therefore, I think I can’t contribute anything meaningful to you anymore. What your children criticized is still missing.
Hi,
the thing with the children was misunderstood - they criticize basically everything the parents do. They don’t really care about the house.
Why is that unfortunate? Because having the door to the corner of the dressing room takes away the possibility to install a built-in wardrobe both in the hallway and in the dressing room there. Using the space sensibly is the most important aspect.
Our life is different in this regard:
- currently our bathroom doesn’t have a lock at all.
- A big business is done in the guest toilet; the bathroom toilet is only there for quick use at night or before showering.
- no one here is bothered when someone comes into the bathroom while showering
- the door in the dressing room means in 80% of all cases: into the dressing room, then right into the bathroom, then back into the dressing room, and then into the bedroom. Admittedly, sometimes you simply get changed and only need the dressing room. Mathematically, the diagonal route through the bathroom is even shorter than around the corner through the door in the dressing room.
And: you are indeed making a valuable contribution here, because you provoke thought. Thanks for that.
