I don't like your post with the wish to delete it and 's response to it. The moderator can write one sentence why this is not desired.

I clearly see a case of data protection violation here and don't understand why it is so difficult to delete it. It's enough that the original poster did not want to disclose their place of residence and did not do so voluntarily. My thread "Hausbau aktuell - Trends und Neuheiten auf dem Markt" was deleted without reason. Arbitrary action is one thing, but data protection must be observed in Germany, and that also applies to Swiss people.

Deleting entire threads and then without providing reasons is certainly the wrong approach. I also consider deleting individual posts to be wrong. The solution would have been quite simple: After the OP expressed their dissatisfaction with the publication and requested deletion, the location would have been overwritten with the note "Edited by moderator" in the disputed post and in the quote clumsily posted by the OP themselves with an X.
