or here with plenty of storage space as a silencer for toilet noises
If you have a cool staircase, it will be perfectly showcased this way as well.

You're welcome.

My working hours are paid by the taxpayer!

Yes, but take it only as a sketch and room arrangement... I could only remember a max. depth of 13 meters.

In Alessandro's design, I would reduce the recess in favor of a more comfortable bathroom; as it is, it is quite angular. But if you extend the wall of the walk-in closet straight and use the niche only for the bedroom, you get a few more meters of closet space and more room for the bathroom. I would also slightly extend the left-side closet along the wall. The sewage situation is still not very good, however... but doable.

Good morning and thank you all. I like the room layout at ypg better than yours, Alessandro. Nevertheless, thank you very much for your good input.

I have a question regarding the utility room: in most floor plans, it is always quite small, also here with you in relation to the other rooms. Considering that it has to accommodate the heating, house connections (electricity, telephone, water), washing machine & dryer, second refrigerator and freezer, and additionally a workspace for sorting and hanging laundry (drying rack) and possibly also ironing..... how much space is realistically needed for this?

In general, I always find that a lot of value is placed on living spaces, but less on storage and utility rooms.

Regards, Andreas

For your listed requirements, it should be at least 10 sqm. You can also move the right-hand closet in the dressing room downwards in my floor plan proposal; then you will have a straight, light-filled corridor from the bedroom to the bathroom. Then nothing will be crooked anymore.
