For the summer. Ideally, we hand over the house on the weekend when the moving company has also cleared out, so that we don’t have to make an extra trip up.
How sweet! :) I just have a really stupid question: Do insect screens belong to the house, so did we sell them with it? Or should we remove them / ask if they want to keep them?
Just based on feeling, I would have said yes, because it is connected to the building and therefore not inventory. But without agreement, it is of course unclear. You can ask yourself the same question for lamps, mailbox, or a Wallbox. You also have to consider whether you can even use them if they were not sold along with it ...
We explicitly included the Wallbox; it belongs to the house. I'm assuming we'll take the lamps with us (that's always been the case so far). I haven't really thought about the mailbox yet. But it doesn't make much sense to take it down. My husband finds all of that strange; in Australia, no one takes down lamps or removes kitchens. Lamps, kitchens, etc., are fixed parts of a house there. Even rental apartments don't have that.
