Especially since he earns very good money with us. Greed knows no bounds.

I would probably reduce his fee by the bribe.

Actually, I wanted to write "of course not." But that's not true. They make tenders in their favor. See the film "Semmeling, einmal im Leben". Anyone who doesn't watch it is to blame themselves. Well...

In Katja's defense (and all skeptics here in the thread including myself!)

The doubts about the buildability were based on:

1. a localization of the corpus delicti on the property only through hand sketches, Google Maps screenshots, and self-made, guessed site plans
2. incomprehensible statements from the authorities regarding required additional distances
3. the unthinkability of the authority reducing the minimum distances for better buildability
4. permission for boundary construction at the sidewalk

All points have accordingly expanded the "building window" to a usable size.

Therefore, this bet was of course nonsense, I could have also described our building plot as unbuildable (wrong sketches, etc.) and now show you pictures of the finished house: nyah-nyah.

Then be careful that with an expensive item, significant unplanned additional quantities don't suddenly occur that you have to pay for... I would then offset that against the architect's commission.

Sounds like you’re accusing me of intent...

It’s not easy to admit, but it was simply incompetence combined with gaps in knowledge.
