Nice to see that things are progressing with you. The house you see to the left from the window view, is it a newer building? Because it looks as if it was built with the natural rubble stone typical for the "Aachener Voreifel" in earlier times. I would be interested to know if it is still used for construction today and not least, where you can still get it from...

The slight waviness of the ridge beam confirms my spontaneous suspicion that it is more likely an "original" – and I fear that in the era of the Energy Saving Ordinance, you will no longer see that newly (roof tiles can hardly be produced from that). If you could approach someone with such a request, it would most likely be the paving manufacturers (or stonemasons) in the Eifel / Pellenz / Venn area. U-value calculators prefer more homogeneous building materials.
