You accuse us of malice? What do you call that, then, what and especially how you write it?

Why did you create this thread?

You asked in the opening post what needs to be submitted afterwards, we answered.
If you don’t have exact measurements, you could have said so in #5 or something like: “sorry, I will submit later, see you then.”
Instead, there were one- or two-liners, you couldn’t really call them information.

It was kind of a taunt on your part... yes, that’s how I interpreted it. Others here were more patient, yet others the opposite. But that’s just how it is when you ask questions and are not even willing to be straightforward about the information or what is missing.
Almost everyone here is left with a bitter aftertaste.
The downside for you: those who are up for a challenge like this, you have driven away. And now you’re whining here because nobody is willing to piece together your one-liners, because they know the site plan is still not there, so you can’t recognize a building envelope.

Think it over with close

Kbt and Kaho have already drawn floor plans that some architects should be ashamed of in the corner because of their mental diarrhea
Kbt has even created one for you based on estimation
Ypg is really good at finding mistakes and has good ideas

Binsig will accuse everyone here of resistance to advice, lack of information, and naivety

Criticism is more entertaining when you don’t profit from the original poster and don’t have to figure out how to gently tell your buddy that it’s no good.

Escroda can surely give you tips on how to push the building limits

The simple sentence: "Surveying has not been done yet, but it has been commissioned, results will be submitted later" within the first 10 comments would have halved the thread length and saved you a lot of nerves.

Criticism is just different when you are not a customer whose money is wanted.

Otherwise, help from experts like Escroda and overly talented amateurs like Kerstin here is free and priceless. But only possible if your information is complete.

What is missing: exact measurement of the property AND the tree. Everything else is follow-up discussions that have to be fruitless without this information.

As a previously silent reader, I would find the closure here very unfortunate, because this is really difficult and therefore exciting.

Okay. I slept on it and decided that I'll stay in. If only out of respect for the colleagues who have already put in a lot of effort.

As soon as I have all the necessary info/dimensions, I'll get back to you. Until then!

Sorry for the spam, but the description somehow reminds me of the movie *The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen* with Sean Connery )))))
