I will of course be able to live with it and it certainly will not bother me anymore at some point or will not even be noticed anymore. I just find it a shame, as it could possibly have been avoided with more communication from the architect. I would not have thought beforehand that it would be such a mass processing where botching is done instead of working on sensible solutions. I would also have gladly paid more money for further architect consultations if I had been made aware of such problems.Oh well. Everyone knows that a shower in the guest WC is not the main shower. And everyone knows such laymen - if they are not one themselves - who do not automatically think about the reason for a floor opening being due to something in the room below. That happens "in the best families." And this detail anxiety "had to happen" when now a generation of prenatal diagnostics parents become builders. Back when not all builders knew about each other thanks to internet forums, there was no less botching and shoddy work done than today - at least as far as boom construction times are only compared with other boom construction times.
