If I understood your question correctly, the "land" refers to farmland / meadow / forest / or similar. So roughly agricultural land.

Without knowing 100% for sure.
Guidelines from the municipality are, to my knowledge, made with regard to the wastewater situation – specifically the rainwater to be discharged (from the roof / sealed surfaces / etc.). Whether to prevent the sewers from overflowing or becoming dilapidated too quickly or to avoid constantly increasing the capacity of sewage treatment plants.

In the case of agricultural land, surface water (from rain) usually does not flow into the sewage lines but only soaks into the ground. So the issue is resolved there.

Yes, it is.

: We saw a cistern at the hardware store last year that looks like an amphora. I thought it was great. Unfortunately, I don’t remember how much it cost. But they also come in stone look...also very nice. We haven’t decided yet what the cistern should look like. The electricians are just working inside our house and outside it looks really bad because gas, water, and co are being finally installed this week. I think I will take care of it in April.

It depends on how often you flush
For us, it has been over 30 cubic meters in the last 8 months = almost 130 EUR saved (without considering the electricity for the pump). But you need a large family for that...

Correctly stated!

Nevertheless, it will take a very long time before it pays off. In the quoted thread, I paraphrased the conversation with our general contractor. Here is an excerpt again:

"Since a separation between fresh water pipes and the water supply from the cistern has to be made, separate pipes have to be laid. The entire setup would cost between 3,000 and 5,000 euros and would not be cost-effective over a long period at current water prices. Additional costs may include higher cleaning costs for the toilet/flushing tanks (see other statements) and additional electricity costs for the pump. Depending on whether a filter has been installed (but this also has to be paid for)."

Even if you save about 200 euros per year, it will take about 15 years before the installation pays off (with 3,000 euros in piping costs and without considering the additional costs).

I had considered this option myself, but then rejected it due to the numbers. It might be more cost-effective if you come from the trade.

Phew, those are costs that were imposed on you. It looked different for us:
- Water pipe from the garden well approx. €50 material + thanks to the excavator driver who dug a 70 cm deep and 35 m long trench for us
- Filter + cleaning costs not necessary due to very good water quality
- Additional charge for separate piping (three bathrooms) around €1,000 (I don't have the exact price on hand right now)
At this price, it was clear to us that we definitely wanted well water for the toilet.

Hello everyone
here are the things that would have been nice or that I would have liked
- detached single-family house
- more modern heating
- a somewhat larger plot (about 500 more) currently 480 sqm)
- as a layman, I wouldn’t have believed that polished marble is so sensitive on the surface
- cleaning lady (I underestimated the effort as a homeowner)

On the positive side are
- double garage with direct access to the basement
- own secured windowless hobby room for my collections
- craft rooms, storage space in the basement about 70 sqm
- 2 outdoor seating areas
- 2-wing house and living room door (looks generous and practical when a treadmill is delivered)
- 1.65m wide sunny balconies (you only learn to appreciate it after living there for a while)
- I made it cozy according to my ideas: several gas grills, 6 large screens with home cinema (for sports, watching TV, one for 3D movies, one for series while doing paperwork, one for while eating etc...) good that I don’t have to justify my quirks to any roommates, unlike Charlie Harper I live alone
- own cinema room with bed in case I’m too tired to go one floor up
- sports room (I find basement uninviting)
- utility room not in the basement
- V-ZUG household appliances
- guest room, not just a study with a pull-out couch
- bed and dining table made of swamp oak still worth mentioning
- 25 sqm bedroom, ensuite bathroom
- walk-in closet (wonderful when you don’t have to place a wardrobe monster anywhere)
- office with a view of the mountain peaks to let the mind wander...
- open fireplace in the living room (53 sqm)
- separate kitchen (because of the smells) with dining area
- all 4 wet rooms with natural stone, including bathroom in gray marble, double sink
- floor coverings marble and oak parquet
- I’m also glad the stairs are not made of wood, they get damaged immediately, a marble staircase looks like just installed even after 20 years.
- roller shutters are present, but completely useless for me, last year I didn’t even think about using them
- garage and basement at the very bottom, so no view possible from neighbors
- unobstructable view of the mountains
- 190 sqm living area
- in Switzerland
--- but from my point of view the real luxury is to live in the property alone
However, after 11 years in a small apartment on the 5th floor without a lift, parking space, and basement, I have no guilty conscience about it
