What did you indulge in at the house, what did you give up?

To get back to the topic. We treated ourselves to the following:
- Controlled residential ventilation
- all shutters electric
- oak stairs
- BORA cooktop
- 2 floor-level showers
- bathtub 180x80
- in the family bathroom shower and bathtub built-in
- basement
- fireplace

Do you think it is a huge step backwards in comfort if the children's rooms don't have electric shutters? We might want to do without them and I am worried that we might be overlooking something.

I do not find that silly at all, but necessary. Because you neither want to lie in the tub with bent knees nor just *blubblub* . In both cases, you are not really using the tub, at most for small children, and afterwards it just collects dust.

So, give it a try.

You’re right about that. Bigger is better doesn’t apply to bathtubs. The thing has to fit the user’s dimensions.
