What did you indulge in at the house, what did you give up?

We don't need heat protection from roller shutters because we have the air conditioning. It then runs for free (sun = self-generated electricity). In addition, the south wall is insulated to passive house standards and now has a wall thickness of 40 cm (previously 24 cm). For light protection, we have curtains and pleated blinds, which also come as blackout roller blinds. Cold insulation through roller shutters still works with double glazing, but with the new triple-glazed windows, the inner pane is always warm, even at -10° outside. So I would also doubt its benefit there.

I wanted to add air conditioning and photovoltaics to "gegönnt."

Please do not forget VAT and non-monetary benefits ==> self-consumption is not = free, but only slightly cheaper than purchased electricity.

The stove looks great. Does it require a special chimney or can it also be installed in an existing chimney? May I ask how much it costs?

As far as I know, this is a precast chimney and is used during the shell construction work. However, I think it can definitely also be connected to an existing system. You would have to inquire more precisely. It costs us 4900€, thanks to the good connections to our Häuslebauer. The prices are directly downloadable on the page.

Thank you all, the thread is still very interesting. : Was it worth choosing rimless toilets? Are they really much easier to keep clean?

"A little" is quite an understatement. Production costs are maybe 10 ct/kwh. That's 15 ct less than the market price. At anything above 70% system output, I still don't even have a loss in feed-in tariff, as this share is not allowed to be fed in anyway. I don't have 20 euros of VAT per year. I think that is manageable. And if you include the above-mentioned costs, then please the complete balance sheet. What I "earn" in metro vouchers alone per year, which I wouldn't have without photovoltaics, far exceeds these costs. Especially now, for example, there is again a 120 euro voucher. That's already the third promotion this year. Although I financed the system with a loan, I already have a nice surplus.
