Yes, quite a lot is possible when you have money – really cool!
We are also in the middle of construction, but so far it looks very good with our plans, that practically everything we wanted is also being implemented:
[*]central ventilation system with humidity recovery
[*]air conditioning in the living room, both children's rooms, and master bedroom
[*]geothermal heating
[*]central vacuum system
[*]cellar with underfloor heating & reasonable ceiling heights (2.36m)
[*]ceiling height ground floor 2.70m, upper floor 2.50m
[*]flush door leaves with door heights of 2.30m on the ground floor, double-wing glass sliding door between kitchen/dining room
[*]remaining doors 2.13m high
[*]large entrance area with 3.50m door-side panel combination as entrance
[*]stairs from double garage to cellar & access to utility room on ground floor
[*]parquet (oak, white limed) in all upper floor rooms plus living and dining room
[*]large-format tiles in the rest of the house
[*]stairs covered with wood, tiles towards the cellar
[*]lots of network cabling with server cabinet in the cellar
[*]many two-way and crossover switches in combination with motion and dusk sensors
[*]venetian blind system on the west side of the ground floor
[*]large, masonry shower (2.30m x 1.00m) with niche as shelf in master bathroom
[*]flush-mounted mirrored cabinet in master bathroom
[*]separate children's bathroom
[*]small bathroom in cellar
[*]dad room in cellar with large window and light well
[*]large sewing and possibly playroom in cellar
[*]dark clinker construction with two flat-roofed dormers in white scratch plaster
[*]wood stove in exposed concrete look
[*]windows basalt gray outside (textured) and white inside (smooth)
[*]knee wall of 1.25m and 35° pitched roof
We once planned to have a bus system, but after long consideration, we dropped it because I simply didn’t see any added value. What we wanted can also be wired conventionally...
The anticipation grows every day, but there is still a lot to do (DIY).
