If you are satisfied with the spots, then everything is fine. Yes, we also have wall lamps over (and one under the open) stairs instead. They serve the same purpose, the main thing is not to break your neck in the dark.
Yes, I seem to remember that burying the cisterns makes up a large part of the costs. If you can hide the cistern well behind the garage, that’s a good solution. Or are there really fancy-looking cisterns? Maybe we will have a cistern too, but I always call it a rain barrel. So we place a rain barrel at the downpipe of the house, which of course has limited capacity and no pump—at what point is a cistern a cistern?
Oh yes, a very original pattern/color play on the wall. I even like the one with the round lamps, one of which is still sitting on the floor, even better! Very pretty. But the steps in the photo are still provisional, right?
Speaking of mosaic tiles, I once went to a shop with our wall and floor tiles and they had wonderful shimmering, semi-transparent glass mosaic tiles. The delicate, different shades harmonized perfectly with my tiles, even the saleswoman was enchanted, a world full of sparkling lakes, delicate water lilies and smiling bathing elves unfolded before our inner eyes.
And then she quoted the price. When she told me, she was the first to grimace. 580 euros per sqm. I was like: Uh, ouch. She said: Net. I said: Yikes.
