Hello everyone,
I am bringing up this topic again because our outdoor facilities will be partially worked on soon, and I want to start planning. I have inserted a picture showing what it looks like at our place.
- Purple the house
- Gray the paved areas
- Green is to be planted. However it should look later on.....
- The blue circle on the right at the corner of the house is the cistern (~ 7.5m³)
- The black line is the power supply which is switchable inside the house
- The narrow blue lines with the Xen at the end are meant to indicate the points where I would like to have tapping options or could imagine having them.
- This should all happen normally with a hose. We basically want to do it ourselves, and nothing should be watered automatically, etc. It is kind of a lifestyle feeling, manually watering the garden.
Based on these ideas, I have the following questions:
- There have already been some tips about pumps here. If I use the Gardena comfort 6000 for my application, I am probably not making a mistake, right?
- How do I best lay power cables? I now come out of the wall with a cable about 20m long. Should I lead the cable into the cistern, put a Schuko connector on it, and then just plug in the pump? Or how does one proceed here? Cable of the pump out of the cistern and then connect outside?
- How must the cable be routed underground?
- How is the pump fixed in the cistern?
- I would now plan a normal tap column at the 3 planned tapping points. How is the pump’s water hose routed to the different points here? Can you just install a normal distributor and then use a normal hose, or are there special hoses?
That is enough for the beginning. More questions will certainly come up during the further discussion.
I hope you understand what I mean.
Thanks and regards
