If it goes like this, it's of course great. We have now ordered ours... I'm curious whether it was a complete waste.

We also tried lying down, so it became a bed with 180 length. We also have a central drain, but made sure that you can stand well on one side.
So one person sits when bathing with two (works well) and alone it is great for my 165 cm. I don’t slip.
Therefore, I would always recommend trying it out if possible.

The partner bathtub was actually our first choice as well. Then we considered how often the "feature" of bathing together is used. We quickly came to the conclusion that we would rather buy a bathtub designed specifically for one person to lie in, meaning the drain is on one side and the other side is properly sloped.

We bathe together more often. We decided on a trapezoidal bathtub where two people can lie side by side.

The size was also a problem for us. I am quite small at 1.60 m and my husband is quite a bit taller at 1.85 m. This was not exactly unproblematic when choosing the bathtub, so in the end we decided on the standard length of 1.75 m so that we can both bathe reasonably comfortably. However, the tub slopes on one side, so that one side of the tub is shorter than the other. That is why we also chose this bathtub. This way we can both bathe somewhat well without me drowning or my husband only being half in the water. There was no other way to solve it. We basically have the size problem everywhere. Toilet height, washbasin height, kitchen countertop, etc... well, it can’t be changed.
