What do you think about the typical Swedish stoves for 2-4k? Are they any good at all?

For us, the fireplace should ultimately not fulfill the task it was originally meant for, namely heating the house. Rather, it’s more for the visual treat, or simply to sit and watch the open fire in the evening. I find that purely visually, the Swedish stoves in the affordable segment also appeal to me a lot.

But you also need it for a [Schwedenofen]. In addition, the masonry chimney takes up more space. Nevertheless, that is of course a different appearance, and for ME it was worth it. Others may see it differently.
