Yep, it always depends exactly on the floor plan. The nicest thing would be if you could actually test it in your own home

So there will definitely be shade! The question is only whether the other window "balances" or improves that a bit and thus it’s not too bad. Talk to your partner or someone and try to find homeowners who have something like that too.

In our new development areas there are some houses that look something like that. We’ve also just rung the bell sometimes and chatted a bit with them and then looked at various things

I already thought that the orientation of the plan was false. In my expectation, there is "shade" there in exactly the right amount. Possibly, one does not make an open roof underside at the terrace or works with structure.

No, it is a south-facing terrace. The question is just how bright/dark the living room will be through the roof covering.

I had already understood the question before I expressed no concerns. But you can also plan for daylight spots if you are afraid of sitting in the shade.

In sunshine probably no problem, when overcast it is like the awning is extended, would be too dark for me in winter

Personally, it would be too dark for me. It would be different if the bedroom is the open kitchen. I would only plan such a roof if the window adjustment is in the same room next door.
