I don’t know it any other way than

Detailed floor plan planning must be done before a single euro is spent. We inquired with three general contractors in our area and got a complete house design from all three, with special requests and all the extras, free of charge. And then you knew: if I want to build the house as it was drawn on paper, it costs amount X and you could start immediately.
With one of the three, we then had a detailed second design made for €500 (their fixed price).

I see no reason to speak against the classic two-part lift-and-slide door.

How do you see the covered terrace? It is in the south. We are a bit afraid that it casts too much shade. We wanted bright rooms.

This corner will be shady.. We also planned something like that but have now consciously decided against it. We visited two houses with such an "overhang" and you could clearly notice that a lot of shade is created in that area. If you are fans of bright rooms, I would not recommend it.

We also thought about it for a long time, but will eventually make a terrace roof afterward and not have anything built up, or create an "overhang."

We would still have a floor-to-ceiling window on the southwest side. The rooms also have a ceiling height of 2.80 m from the installed floor. We might look into seeing something like this live.
