Open the hallway all the way up to the roof and install roof windows

Oh, I remember. Considerable resistance to advice:
Upper floor: Utility room far too small, access to the bedroom via the dressing room rejected.
Enlarging the hallway without changing the position of the rooms is quite easy: enlarge the exterior walls on the upper floor.

Joking aside: What else is possible:
Light in the hallway: make the window in the dressing room bigger and then add clerestory windows in the wall to the hallway.

We are too. What only just now shockingly dawns on me - even though you had already mentioned the word gable roof - is that one of those is supposed to go on top. The design language of the floor plan draft is so quintessentially original vintage 80s flat roof box that a gable roof really fits like ketchup and mayonnaise in the coffee. What I don't see at all in your paintings is any assumption of our attempts to save the screwed-up plans. The operations would have to be more extensive than just enlarging the bust from 113.5 to 138.5. Of course, an architect says that it works like that. He gets the same fee for this corridor widening as for a better new design. But that doesn't mean that a plan is healed by you drawing it again, only now in color.

Hello kaho674, I would not describe myself as resistant to advice. I have incorporated all your opinions/notes and looked at it in detail. The favorite is the current plan. However, we have come to the conclusion that we do not want to access the bedroom through the walk-in closet and that the utility room provides enough space for the washing machine and dryer. What would be your suggestions for accommodating the drawn rooms? Enlarging is unfortunately not an option. Regards

At least not the hint not to go around in circles with a botched draft. There were changes, yes, around the washing machine. The rescue could not provide that. Maybe you could show pictures of the house that apparently someone is desperately trying to replicate here. Such a draft really cannot have been born on a blank page.

Hello 11ant, unfortunately, only a gable roof with a 22° pitch is allowed. I have incorporated your inputs and those of the others as far as possible and presented the plan to 1 architect and 2 draftspersons. Please share your idea/vision of how/what should be changed if you find the plan lacking.
