Are you sure that you can park 2 cars side by side in a 5 m wide carport?
Sorry, I already posted this here, even the basic rules of a parking space.
I still don’t quite understand the layout. With a 5 m carport and 2 cars, you probably can’t get through with the bikes anymore.
The bicycles, we already discussed here as well, can be stored in the storage room in the east. You would have a total of 3 parking spaces for cars: one in the east in front of the storage, two under the carport in the west.
That would be nice. Our cars are both >2 m wide including mirrors. Better measure it. By the way, our double carport in the rental apartment is only 4.5 m wide. It’s no fun..
Yes, the plot is 16 meters wide! There will be a compromise, and those are the parking spaces here.
We wonder what the advantage of a carport even is? If it freezes, it also freezes under the carport.
The advantage of a carport is that it is more open. No walls to limit. Where there is a wall, nothing works anymore. With a carport only posts. Easy to pass through. Flexibility.
But honestly: build your 9x6 prefabricated garage for your 9x10 house. For you, everything different will be seen as a disadvantage. You won’t see the positive aspects of the suggestions here at all. Probably all people who build a carport are crazy in your eyes?
2.75 m internal garage width will always be wider for you than a carport that is 2.75 m wide.
A closed west wall will be brighter for you than with a west window.
A plot limited by the garage in the west will always be wider for you than the full plot width.
And afterwards, it’s our fault.
This really is the same endless discussion here.
I mean: your questions are somehow ... childish!
