On which of these floor plans can we continue to build?

However, with the situation of having the dining area almost directly in the chill lounge. Some may not mind, others do. How do you get to the terrace? I wonder how functional designs can always be made worse instead of just accepting them as they are and having the BT draw them with instructions x, y, and z. The example above clearly shows the difference between a usable and an unusable design.

about 42 m² sounds like more than 37 m²

You can "work" on both sides (with us it is often the case that when one is cooking, the other is already washing stuff). and if you can on both sides, the cabinets could be opened parallel.

Only who defines that?
We rather know it so that eating and living belong together and mostly the kitchen is separate.

I understand that you are upset, but it is about our house and we are allowed to say that it seems too tight for us.

You may. Nevertheless, 37 are better distributed at Kaho than your 42.

And if you think about it, you eat at the dining table what was prepared in the kitchen and then sit in the living room to have peace. That was the requirement of the LR earlier:

Maybe reconsider what you do in the LR and what in the kitchen or dining room.

And don’t tell us that the kids are parked on the sofa for homework...

When it comes to floor plan ideas, I may not be the right person, but I can’t hold back on the prejudice. Please go to your BT and have something drawn that you like. If you don’t like it, please go back and talk to the BT. If it still doesn’t fit, sign with another one even if it takes you 10 years. A forum can only help to a limited extent with someone who only compares numbers and keeps coming up with other unsuitable alternatives.

Sorry for the directness, but this is no longer productive here, although I had hope in between.

Upset is an exaggeration. It’s not important enough to me for that. I’m certainly not hung up on any draft that you find too cramped, too short, too wide, or whatever. Just click through the number of drafts I’ve posted in this forum. It should become clear to you that this is fun for me and I’m not mourning any of them. What bothers me more is that no one can understand your priorities. What was important today doesn’t matter tomorrow. Just now the living room had to be mostly hidden around the corner so that the kitchen isn’t visible. Now it doesn’t matter anymore. Apparently, it’s more important now that the new large dining table fits. Nice to finally learn that after more than 40 pages. Kitchen / living room / dining area in a line – that’s the standard design that was surely shown to you at the very beginning for a house this size or that you’ve seen somewhere. Every builder has that in their drawer. Then it was, please not in a line, and now you come back to it again after 2 forums and dozens of posts. Well, hallelujah.

Off Topic: Tomorrow two people are coming to look at our dining table. Great piece, but it hasn’t proven itself in everyday life. Yesterday I switched to holiday mode and listed it on eba* Kleinanzeigen. I’m curious if anyone will want it. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!
Does anyone have another idea where I can get a table with a live-edge wood top (online)?
