The "furnishing" of the site plan with small house symbols, terraces and driveways does not represent the building envelope, by the way, the OP would have more freedom there. Suggestions with nicer floor plans were made to him and would fit into the building envelope; finances are apparently not the issue, but he fears that a nicer house floor plan would lead to a less nice garden layout.
If that is the case, perhaps the complete garden planning should be finished first, to then have more freedom in house placement.

Especially since with this huge lump you ruin the all-important garden. How about a discreet permit-free garden shed at the other end of the garden for garden stuff? – Or a cellar. The latter would clarify quite a bit here, I think. But apparently that is not enough.
