On which of these floor plans can we continue to build?

How exactly is it with the garden? Should it become a kitchen garden? In that case, in my opinion, it is not so crucial where the beans grow. The green area always remains approximately the same. If it is more about creating a small oasis with a pond and who knows what, then the situation looks different. How was it again with the horse and the tail (see #25)? Slowly we are going around in circles.

What does your wife want to put in the garden? Greenhouse Pool Outdoor kitchen Space for seating area and play area is available. Privacy screen. If you want to keep the curious out, you have to build in an opaque one. For the occasional glance, an interruption, e.g. a hedge, is enough. The view of a garage wall is also not so great.

Primarily, there will be a lawn, plus a double swing and a pool. On the terrace (which should be about 3.5 m deep), there will be a table with chairs, so nothing world-shaking. Here and there maybe a little shrub and some flowers, maybe a bit of fruit and vegetables as well. But at the beginning, we want it to be low-maintenance.

One idea for a long garage was actually also to have a bit of privacy and noise protection, but I think that’s difficult in such a tight settlement. Privacy can also be achieved with a hedge or, if you like, a fence.

The garden is more than enough at 12x8.

But that means in reverse that you don't really need the space in the garden, so the house should definitely be made longer and narrower to solve many of the so far fruitlessly discussed problems?

In plain English, you get problem solutions almost for free since you hardly use the garden area anyway.

Why exactly is that now not possible? If I understand correctly, it just has to go through internal controlling?
