Even if I only understand half of it, it works the way I imagined. That is important to me so that I can also point it out to the professionals. If you have a few pictures for me, I would be very happy about that

How far along are you with the planning? I saw your question in another post. I had already given it some thought. Unfortunately, I was then sent on forced leave.

On Monday we bought the property including the section in the southwest. Now we are waiting for elevations from the surveyor. With these, I will go to 2 independent architects and 3 architects from general contractors.

The in-house think tank is currently dealing with the topics
- avoiding excavation (i.e., raising the house)
- saving costs (for the almost 150m2 large driveway and the space in front of the garages, another approx. 100m2)
- a retaining wall that is cheap and stable enough for the driveway

I just wonder how the 9% incline is supposed to work? I would also like to know what your idea of the house is. Your first draft was not so great. Is there anything new? I was thinking whether you might even be able to realize your project only on the western property and win the first applicant as a partner for the eastern property.

Our questions overlapped there. I will get back to you tomorrow.

The eastern property was already surveyed.

How is this supposed to work with the 9% incline? The driveway? We have both bought the properties and an additional area of about 150 m2 in the southwest. If the driveway starts there, we have about 35-40 m to the property boundary, which is located in the north-northeastern area of the building envelope. It would be perfect if we manage to raise the house 4.5 m above street level. That way, we would save half the excavation, at least theoretically.

The eastern property is apparently already surveyed, but I have no contact with the previous interested party. He also hasn’t been in the forum since 10/10.

There is also the possibility that we separate the houses by 5 m, leave the slope in the middle, and go up between the two houses. We would like that too.

We haven’t gotten much further with the planning yet. Except that the houses don’t necessarily have to be that narrow and the garages might be placed completely under the house, and we might get a small terrace on steel beams.

Our hopes rest on the next few days, where we hopefully learn more about the planning.
