Since the property cannot be sold in the east, you also have a great garden for free. The municipality is happy if you take over the maintenance.

I also have 4 stairs in the house. But I almost always use only one. With you, however, it is different, you always have 2 stairs from the GA to your ground floor. The parents are supposed to go to the basement?

The SM stands on rock. Nothing will happen. The structural engineer will confirm that for you. But if those in the north violated the development plan and executed contrary to the planning, then further steps should be considered.

Your word to God’s ear regarding the wall. I don't want the property for free anyway, because it's really so steep that I could only use it as a slide or a mini vineyard. But if it would be financially beneficial to me, that would be great.

The wall is neither approved nor permitted as it is. What could happen to the guy? As I said, it doesn't bother me if it doesn't hinder me. However, I would still be interested in the possible consequences. There is already a house on it.

What can the neighbor expect? In my opinion until the dismantling of the 2 m excess on the GSG.

I am not sure what the conditions for the retaining walls are. Max. 2* 1.5m? Also at the boundary? Please post the part from the development plan again. I don't want to search the entire post.

As I said, the house is at least 8 m from the property line. Presumably also on the rock. That does not burden the wall and thus your property. The wall itself is a gravity wall and is inclined at least about 10 degrees, that should be no problem. But still, I would ask the neighbor about the statics of the retaining wall.

Hi guys, I need your help again. Specifically with understanding the soil report ‍♂️

They said I need to provide an excavator so they can dig 4 m deep. That cost me 800 euros. But they only got 1.5 m deep until they hit the limestone slab. The report itself cost another 1,700 euros.

Now, of course, I don’t know how massive the slab is and what is underneath. To find out, they now want to drill. This time I don’t need an excavator, but the offer amounts to almost 2,800 euros.

That can’t be normal, or can it?

Maybe someone can tell me the best way to proceed, I would like to avoid the 2nd report (which I don’t really expect) and still have the earthworks realistically calculated… a recommendation for action would also be great. Thanks for your help

Just ask the neighbors. Did they drill into the rock?

The geologist should know from experience what to expect there.

The foundation recommendations are quite clear.

I don't see any need for drilling. In my opinion, the report meets the requirements of the building authority.

Since the foundation is supposed to reach the rock anyway, I don't see what the drilling should achieve.

Since rock was found in all test pits, I consider the likelihood that there is none somewhere rather low.

How expensive is the excavation in rock?
