Question: What do you actually think about the ceiling height in the basement? From your point of view, is 2.23 okay? If I were to go higher, it wouldn’t affect the already fully utilized eaves height because I would then "simply" build the basement deeper, right?

Such a balcony costs money and will probably never be used. Just design it as a flat roof.

We have actually switched from a flat roof to a hip roof.

Received the views early this morning, from our perspective they are still not optimal.. above all, my better half is bothered by the terrace roof (3 posts, see south view). However, if we limit the roof to the recess of the ceiling from the 1st floor, that would give us too little covered terrace. We are wondering whether we should add a window each in children's room 1 (south view) and 2 (north view) (one facing south towards the terrace and one facing north towards the garage).
