Here you go... and the next update - the kitchen builder. We think the distances from the island to the window front / cabinet are 90cm wide. Didn’t find that confining at the kitchen builder and it’s fine. What do you think?

P.S. Incredible how much money you can bury in a kitchen.
P.P.S. The island is 2.05 wide and 1.20 deep.

We are fans of simple furnishings and prefer it to be more open and not "fully built up"

The island is stupid. I would leave it under 2.50m width.

Cross out the line with the base cabinets. Rotate the island and pull the tall cabinets into the corner.

Basically just like you had it on one of your last plans anyway. Very simple a tall cabinet row on the wall + cooking & washing island

I don't think that an island must have at least this or that. It should also be practical for cooking if necessary and still fit the space. For me, 1.20 would not be suitable because I can't reach that far to clean, and when cleaning/wiping, you don't want to walk around! The dead corner would collect dust and would only become a trash corner, guaranteed. I would either place the sink in the middle, including the cabinets underneath, or harmonize it asymmetrically offset with the stove on the island.

120 cm wide base cabinets are rather impractical.

There is too little space next to the cooktop.

The bottom left corner has no concept and is a wasted square meter... because even the passage into the corner is already too narrow.

Refrigeration and storage would need to be swapped so that the counter space can be better accessed. Because either the hinge blocks the convenient access to the sink area, and placing things on the cooktop is also not good.
