As a user of a glass sliding door, I would like to change the "nothing at all" to a convincing "a little."
There is definitely a noticeable difference whether it is open or closed...

Find that ok. I would still paint the basement light shaft on the terrace. A basement can do without light, and the terrace is not interrupted by an ugly grate.
