found the thread, the island is 310cm including [Deckseiten].

The island now has a length of 3.15 because we wanted the slab in one piece and it couldn’t be longer.
For the cabinets, we have different types. Mostly push to open.

I honestly don't know. It was done temporarily because the electrical cables run behind it and otherwise the cabinets could not have been installed.

Thanks for the insight into the kitchen cabinets! The holes (sockets and Bora) would drive me crazy. Even if "that's how it's done nowadays" :cool:
