What speaks against continuing to pursue this approach? I quite like it already. With a few adjustments, it could also fulfill all your wishes.

An island kitchen can be realized by moving the dining room slightly to the left, which does result in losing some roofing but gains space for the island. In the upper floor, the bathroom can be minimized slightly, allowing the bedroom to be enlarged a bit. Sketch follows

It even works with a pantry. I forgot to draw the door facing the living area. A glass sliding door would also be conceivable here. If the pantry is not needed, either the hallway can be widened and accordingly the bathroom made narrower but longer, or the staircase moved to the right and the living room enlarged... This thing definitely has potential.

Ivenho, also very nice. Nice kitchen. I wanted to put the fireplace there too, but then it ran through the children's room.

: just don't lose courage, now your floor plan has still found some friends, apart from a few small changes.

Hello everyone,

very nice floor plans, we saved them immediately.

By the way, we just received an invoice from the architect amounting to 13,200.00 EUR. He accepts the termination of the contractual relationship, even though he cannot understand the reasons for it. He would charge us for his fees incurred so far based on our verbal lump-sum agreement (55,000 EUR).

Is that legal? I mean: a) there was no written offer, b) no signature accepting the contract and c) all drafts were not as we wanted, we had to repeatedly request revisions and the status was still poor. Here I could see a trick.

How do you see it? What is the legal situation?
