What I really like about our window planning are the corner windows. Attached is an example.
However, I don't see any indications of shading that would be discreetly integrated, but rather it looks like their absence or that this is an old plan version with roller shutters and windows not quite floor-to-ceiling (?)
Why? They don't bring more light anyway.
It doesn't bring more light that a window goes around the corner – but it does bring more light if it is cleverly placed (and in some cases around the corner). And it fits better with the trend, which even in prime locations increases the value of a property. Although I think these architects keep the hipness of the look within an aesthetically acceptable framework, i.e. the building won't be made ridiculous in twenty years by today's fashion trend.
